Autumn shows

After a fantastic run at The Fringe, autumn is well and truly upon us.  We have a hat-trick of hilarity for you with three bumper shows scheduled for September and October!

On Tuesday 17th September, we’re at the Gilchrist Postgraduate Club with a FREE show to celebrate Freshers’ Week.

Bright Club at the Gilchrist

Two weeks later, after a five-month hiatus, we’re excited to return to The Stand Comedy Club on Monday 30th September for a show hosted by Michael ‘Father Stone’ Redmond and his awe-inspiring moustache.  We’ve even booked a musician!  Don’t miss what’s sure to be a cracking night, tickets are on sale now.

And now for something completely different. Next year, people in Scotland will be voting on whether we should remain a part of the UK or become an independent country.  The debate is in full swing but lacking one vital ingredient: humour!

On Wednesday 26th October we’ll be attempting to inject a little humour into the national conversation with the Bright Club Glasgow Indy Ref Special!  Six academic performers will discuss the issues surrounding independence in the context of their own research field.  We’ll even be staging our own BCG Referendum!  This will be an interesting one… stay tuned for updates!
